Sunsonix, along with Motech (Taiwan), had been selected to present a poster entitled “Pre-Diffusion Clean Optimization for High-Volume Manufacturing of Multi-Crystalline Solar Cells” at the 27th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany on September 24, 2012.

The poster details that control and optimization of the cleaning process, enable benefits such as substantial savings with regards to water and chemical usage in volume production without compromising the PV cell properties.

The second one together with the University of Tucson, AZ, US entitled “Investigation of Biodegradable Texturing Chemistries for Crystalline Si” shows that our biodegradable texturing additive SF-X™ chemistry can meet the performance of non-biodegradable additives and eliminate the use of IPA. Biodegradable additives are safe for the environment and enable the PV industry to further reduce its environmental impact.
